Job Description

  • Lead the technical training business across the APAC region, driving training-related revenue growth and achievement of business objectives.
  • Develop and execute regional Academy strategies aligned with global business goals and organizational priorities.
  • Establish, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators, financial targets, and operational objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and enhance business performance.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical training programs to ensure workforce competency and capability development.
  • Collaborate closely with Service, Sales, and Life Cycle Services teams to align training solutions with customer and business needs.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and execution of training activities across the APAC region.
  • Optimize trainer utilization and workforce capacity to maximize operational efficiency and training effectiveness.
  • Drive process improvements, operational excellence, and service quality enhancements within the Academy organization.
  • Promote best-practice sharing and collaboration across regional and global networks.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction and expand business opportunities.
  • Act as the key point of contact between customers and internal stakeholders regarding training programs and Academy services.
  • Lead change management initiatives and ensure effective communication during organizational and operational transitions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Academy teams throughout the APAC region.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance culture.
  • Communicate business updates, strategic priorities, and performance results to internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of leadership experience in Academy Management, Learning & Development, Technical Training, Service Operations, or related functions.
  • Regional or multinational experience within the APAC market is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with experience driving revenue growth, training sales, or service business performance.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing business strategies while achieving financial and operational targets.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Service, Sales, Operations, and other business functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Ability to transform data and market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on service excellence and business growth.
  • Experience in process improvement, quality management, compliance, and organizational transformation initiatives is advantageous.
  • Prior experience within industrial equipment, manufacturing, engineering services, or technical training environments is preferred.
  • Good command in English.
