Job Description

  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for filling and packing equipment to maximize machine reliability.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repair activities to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Review and enhance maintenance checklists and recommend improvements to maintenance processes.
  • Support equipment installation projects and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and system records.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians and production personnel.
  • Transfer technical expertise and coach teams on maintenance best practices and equipment operation.
  • Manage maintenance work orders in SAP, including labor hours, material usage, and closure documentation.
  • Update preventive maintenance master data and equipment records within SAP systems.
  • Prepare maintenance reports covering performance results, project progress, and action plans.
  • Analyze equipment failures using structured problem-solving methodologies to determine root causes and preventive actions.
  • Improve spare parts management by optimizing inventory levels and standardizing components.
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and lead corrective actions to reduce downtime.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects across maintenance operations.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and implement solutions that improve equipment availability and productivity.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience working with filling and packing machinery.
  • Proven expertise in preventive maintenance, machine reliability, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP maintenance modules and work order management.
  • Knowledge of spare parts planning, inventory control, and maintenance budgeting.
  • Experience leading cost-reduction and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and food safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis tools such as RCA, FMECA, and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiar with TPMS methodology.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
