Job Description

Key Responsibilites

  • Drive strategic new business development by identifying, targeting, and securing key automotive OEM accounts across Thailand, with a focus on Japanese and Chinese manufacturers
  • Lead and manage the full sales lifecycle, ensuring effective execution from opportunity identification through to negotiation and contract closure
  • Develop and implement structured sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's presence within the automotive sector
  • Establish and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within OEM organizations
  • Leverage an extensive industry network to generate qualified leads, build pipelines, and accelerate market access
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., engineering, program management, operations) to deliver customer-centric and competitive solutions
  • Represent the organization professionally at industry events, customer meetings, and networking forums to strengthen brand positioning
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and key performance metrics
  • Analyze and monitor market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform strategic decision-making
  • Operate with autonomy and accountability, demonstrating strong leadership, ownership, and a results-driven mindset in a senior individual contributor capacity

The Successful Applicant

A successful OEM Sales Manager (Automotive Part Manufacturing) should have:

  • Extensive experience in automotive sales or business development, with a strong track record of acquiring and growing OEM accounts
  • Proven ability to drive new business, with demonstrated success in penetrating new markets and winning strategic customers
  • Established network within Thailand's automotive industry, particularly with Japanese (J-OEM) and Chinese (C-OEM) manufacturers
  • Solid experience in managing the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to negotiation and contract closure
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop strategic sales plans and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability across internal and external teams
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to shape effective sales strategies
  • Highly self-driven and independent, capable of operating with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English and Thai (additional language skills are an advantage)
  • Results-oriented and resilient, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with energy and motivation to build business from the ground up
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced automotive environment
