The company offers an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, providing employees with the opportunity to play a key role in driving strategic project development and supporting the country's transition toward sustainable energy solutions.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of utility-scale renewable energy projects from origination through commercial operation.Drive land acquisition, project feasibility assessments, regulatory approvals, permitting activities, and stakeholder engagement.Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, strategic partners, consultants, and industry stakeholders.Oversee project development activities and coordinate closely with engineering, project management, and external contractors to ensure successful project execution.Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth strategy.Lead, mentor, and grow the business development team while providing strategic recommendations to senior management.The Successful ApplicantKey Requirements Proven experience in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, or utility-scale project development.Demonstrated track record of developing and delivering large-scale energy projects (60MW+ preferred).Strong experience managing the full project development lifecycle, from project origination and land acquisition through permitting, approvals, and commercial operation.Established network with key stakeholders across the energy sector, including government agencies, regulators, and strategic partners.Strong commercial acumen with experience in project evaluation, business development, and stakeholder management.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously.Previous team leadership or people management experience is highly preferred.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience working with both project development and engineering/construction stakeholders would be advantageous.What's on OfferWhat is on offer for the candidate?
