This individual will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, fundraising, ecosystem development, program deployment, organizational growth, and stakeholder engagement while representing the organization as a prominent leader within Thailand's clean energy sector.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the Thailand business, ensuring sustainable growth and measurable ecosystem impact.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Thailand's clean energy ecosystem through partnerships, innovation initiatives, and market development programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials, corporate leaders, investors, industry associations, and development partners.
  • Lead fundraising activities, secure sponsorships, and develop a diversified pipeline of funding opportunities from corporate, foundation, public, and private sector sources.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, clean energy seminars, panel discussions, and ecosystem events, serving as a key ambassador to external stakeholders.
  • Drive the successful implementation of programs that support clean energy innovation, entrepreneurship, commercialization, and workforce development.
  • Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing local team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Establish strategic partnerships that expand the organization's reach, influence, and long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, operational performance, governance, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to share best practices and contribute to broader organizational goals.
  • Monitor market trends, policy developments, emerging technologies, and investment activity within the clean energy sector.
  • Develop initiatives that generate measurable impact across Thailand's energy transition ecosystem.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial mindset with a genuine passion for sustainability and clean energy. Rather than coming from a purely NGO-focused background, they will possess proven experience building partnerships, influencing stakeholders, raising funds, and driving business or ecosystem growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience within clean energy, sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, investment, consulting, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, sponsorship development, strategic partnerships, or business development.
  • Strong network across Thailand's government, corporate, energy, investment, and entrepreneurial communities.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, policymakers, investors, and public-sector stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent financial, operational, and organizational management skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities in both Thai and English.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented environment.
