Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transport and distribution sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and potential areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals and reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance to meet targets.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in sales within the shipping or supply chain industry.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and data to inform strategies.
