The successful candidate requires experience in CNC, tooling maintenance, precision machining, stamping operations, toolroom equipment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting tooling-related production issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to ensure optimal production performance.
  • Operate toolroom equipment including CNC milling, surface grinding, lathe, and drilling machines to manufacture and maintain tooling components.
  • Execute tooling changeovers on stamping press lines according to production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and quality issues, conducting root cause investigations to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect machined components and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precision and compliance with specifications.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), engineering builds, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process capability and equipment effectiveness.
  • Maintain tooling records, spare part inventory, FMEA, control plans, work instructions, and other technical documentation to support manufacturing operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in tooling, press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures manufacturing, maintenance, or stamping operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with toolroom machinery such as CNC milling, grinding, lathe, and other machining equipment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose tooling, quality, and production-related issues effectively.
  • Able to work independently, perform under pressure, and support rotating shift operations when required.
