Job Description

  • Manage and maintain the technical operations of the data centre, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee facilities management activities, including HVAC, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all technical operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair activities.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
  • Monitor and analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the facilities management team.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to technical operations and maintenance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Manager (Data Center) should have:

  • A strong technical background in facilities management, particularly in data centres.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements in the data centers.
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors and managing maintenance schedules.
