Job Description

  • Identify and develop new application opportunities through customer engagement, technical consultations, product demonstrations, and field evaluations.
  • Lead application engineering and product enhancement projects for medium- and high-voltage cable accessory solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and application support to utility companies, industrial customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute product trials, qualification programs, and validation activities to ensure product performance and customer acceptance.
  • Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis related to cable joints, terminations, and associated systems.
  • Coordinate with external testing laboratories to support product certifications, compliance requirements, and type testing activities.
  • Deliver technical training programs for internal teams, distributors, contractors, and end users.
  • Support new product launches, including product qualification, technical documentation, and customized application solutions.
  • Evaluate competitor products and market trends to strengthen product positioning and value propositions.
  • Contribute to industry engagement through technical presentations, professional forums, and technical publications.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to identify business opportunities and accelerate market adoption of new technologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in power engineering, preferably within the medium- or high-voltage cable industry.
  • Strong understanding of power transmission and distribution systems, including cables, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, or troubleshooting of cable accessories.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead technical projects and initiatives independently.
  • Comfortable working both in office and field environments.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly for customer support and site activities.
