Job Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Work closely with suppliers to build strong relationships and negotiate favourable terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimise stock management processes.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with production and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve performance targets.

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong background in supply chain management, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Experience in inventory management and process optimisation.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess supply chain data and implement improvements.
  • Strong leadership qualities to guide and develop the supply chain team.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional team
