Job Description

Key Responsibilites

  • Drive new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential clients across key industries
  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies to penetrate new customer segments
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients to secure long-term partnerships
  • Promote and sell industrial packaging solutions, including plastic, tinplate, and aluminium components
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales support, operations, and import/export to ensure smooth execution
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations to close deals effectively
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover trends and growth opportunities
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads
  • Deliver sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth through strategic account development


The Successful Applicant

A successful BD Specialist should have:

  • Proven track record in new business development, sales, or market expansion within industrial, manufacturing, or packaging-related sectors
  • Strong understanding of import/export processes and experience working across regional markets
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a commercial mindset
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and own the full sales cycle
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to expand network and business opportunities
