The organisation operates large-scale manufacturing facilities and focuses on innovation, operational excellence, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement to support the evolving mobility industry.

Job Description

Lead overall plant operations to achieve business objectives across cost, quality, productivity, delivery performance, safety, and people management.

Translate corporate financial targets into operational plans and budgets while monitoring investment, inventory, profitability, and cost optimisation initiatives.

Drive customer satisfaction by overseeing customer service activities, resolving customer complaints, and supporting customer-driven improvement programs.

Establish manufacturing strategies that ensure production efficiency, product quality, cost competitiveness, and fulfilment of customer volume requirements.

Lead continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, waste reduction, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment across all plant functions.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, legal, and quality management standards, including certification requirements and ISO systems.

Develop organisational capability by driving talent development, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and a diverse and inclusive workplace culture

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 7-10 years of Plant Manager experience within the automotive industry, plus extensive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.

Strong expertise in high-volume manufacturing, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Good command of English; Japanese language capability is an advantage.

Demonstrated strengths in strategic planning, problem solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and change leadership.
