Job Description

  • Lead production planning, material planning, and inventory management activities to ensure customer delivery commitments while balancing inventory levels, material availability, and production capacity.
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term capacity plans by evaluating manpower, equipment, facility constraints, and operational requirements to support business growth, commercial production, and new product introductions.
  • Partner closely with Production, Engineering, PMO, Global Sourcing, Quality, and Finance teams to align planning priorities, resource readiness, inventory risks, and customer delivery expectations.
  • Analyze demand trends, forecast changes, and supply risks, leading demand and supply review processes to identify constraints and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Drive inventory optimization initiatives, including the reduction of excess and obsolete inventory, slow-moving stock, blocked materials, and other inventory-related risks.
  • Lead planning activities for NPI projects, validation builds, engineering change management, and product transitions to ensure seamless product launches and material readiness throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Strengthen planning capabilities through process improvement, SOP development, KPI management, and team leadership, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, or related functions, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in production and material planning within a complex manufacturing environment, with the ability to balance demand, supply, capacity, and inventory considerations.
  • Proven experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and product transition activities from project initiation through production ramp-up.
  • Background in Medical Device, Electronics, Life Sciences, or other highly regulated and complex manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong English communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with a proactive, adaptable, and resilient mindset to succeed in a fast-growing organization with frequent change and extensive collaboration across international teams.
