Job Description

  • Develop and implement materials planning and purchasing strategies to support operational goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels to align with production requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in procurement processes.
  • Lead and mentor the materials planning and purchasing team to achieve set objectives.
  • Prepare reports and present insights to senior management on procurement performance.

The Successful Applicant

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field is required.

Experience: 5-7 years of related experience preferred, with at least 5 years in a relevant industry.

Flexibility: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Skills: Strong analytical, detail-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable across business functions.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office; familiarity with general office equipment
