Job Description

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimise product performance in the sports category.
  • Analyse market trends and customer preferences to inform product selection and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to align merchandising plans with promotional activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
  • Evaluate sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team to achieve merchandising goals efficiently.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on merchandising performance for senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Merchandising Director (Multi Sports Brands) should have:

  • Thai, Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 12+ years in Merchandising, Buying, or Category Management in sports, outdoor, lifestyle, or retail brands.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end merchandising and buying, including assortment planning, seasonal buying, pricing, sales forecasting, OTB management, and inventory optimization.
  • Strong leadership, commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Thai, with the ability to communicate and present business strategies effectively
