Job Description

  • Develop and execute detailed maintenance plans, job packages, and weekly maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Lead maintenance planning and scheduling activities for plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency outages to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
  • Manage maintenance work orders, preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and maintenance documentation through SAP.
  • Coordinate closely with operations, engineering, contractors, and project teams to ensure maintenance activities are planned and executed efficiently.
  • Monitor schedule progress, resource utilization, manpower requirements, and maintenance KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory planning, procurement coordination, and material availability to support maintenance reliability and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Promote continuous improvement, safety excellence, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards across maintenance operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma, High Vocational Certificate, or higher in Engineering, Maintenance, Technical, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance operations, shutdown planning, or plant maintenance within a process manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance work management, preventive maintenance strategies, and maintenance best practices in chemical, petrochemical, or industrial plants.
  • Proficiency in SAP PM or equivalent maintenance management and scheduling systems, with the ability to interpret P&IDs and technical documentation.
  • Excellent planning, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
