Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Manage legal risks and provide strategies for effective risk mitigation.
  • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain legal policies and procedures to support business operations.
  • Support the resolution of disputes and oversee litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment on legal and business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • A degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification.
  • Professional experience in corporate, commercial, or industrial legal matters.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
