Job Description

  • Own merchandising strategy, buying, inventory, and profitability.
  • Drive sales performance and commercial strategic planning across stores and e-commerce.
  • Lead data-driven planning, allocation, and markdown decisions.
  • Partner with global brand teams and key stakeholders.
  • Build and develop a high-performing merchandising team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Merchandising should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in fashion merchandising or buying, including proven leadership exposure within fast-fashion or high-volume retail environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on ownership of P&L, margins, profitability, and merchandise performance.
  • Deep expertise in OTB management, merchandise planning, allocation, inventory optimization, and sell-through performance.
  • Experience working within a franchise, licensee, or distributor model with a global principal/brand is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic commercial planning, assortment optimization, category performance, and profitable growth.
  • Highly data-driven, with strong proficiency in BI tools, retail analytics, and AI-enabled decision-making.
