We are looking for a Head of Department - Project Management to join a fast-growing retail business in Bangkok. The successful candidate will bring experience leading large-scale warehouse construction and automation projects, with strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities. This role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a new automated warehouse, ensuring successful execution within budget, timeline, and operational requirements.

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, construction, and implementation of the new automated warehouse project.
  • Manage project scope, budget, timeline, resources, and risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee warehouse automation system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and operational standards during construction and implementation.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, supply chain, IT, and facilities teams.
  • Prepare project progress updates, executive reports, and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse, distribution centre, logistics, automation, or industrial facility projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management, automation technologies, project planning, budgeting, and contractor management.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
