Our client is a well-established OEM manufacturer specializing in custom mold making, plastic injection molding, blow molding, and complete assembly solutions. With a strong presence across the food, paint, adhesive, industrial, and consumer sectors, the company has built a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer-centric manufacturing services.

As part of its next phase of growth, the company is seeking a commercially driven General Manager - Sales to strengthen its leadership team, accelerate revenue growth, develop new markets, and support regional expansion initiatives.

Job Description

This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.

You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, expanding market presence, identifying new revenue streams, and leading a multi-segment sales organization within a well-established manufacturing business.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence business direction, drive growth, and play a critical role in the company's regional expansion journey.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and business growth strategies.
  • Drive revenue and profitability across multiple product categories.
  • Expand market presence within food, industrial, consumer goods, paint, chemical, and OEM sectors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales organization to achieve sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, manufacturing, and senior leadership to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Support regional expansion initiatives and market diversification efforts.

The Successful Applicant

Key Qualifications

  • Proven success in senior sales leadership roles, such as General Manager, Sales Director, Commercial Director, or Head of Business Development.
  • Extensive experience within plastic packaging, OEM manufacturing, industrial products, consumer goods, chemicals, or related B2B industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and securing strategic business opportunities.
  • Strong network and established relationships with key stakeholders across manufacturing, food & beverage, FMCG, industrial, packaging, and related sectors.
  • Strategic and commercially minded leader with the ability to translate business objectives into sustainable growth initiatives.
  • Experienced in leading and developing high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
  • Strong business development capabilities with a proven ability to identify, penetrate, and grow new markets and customer segments.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and customer relationship-building skills at both operational and executive levels.
  • Financially astute with a solid understanding of sales planning, profitability management, pricing strategy, and commercial performance metrics.
  • Experience working within fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or growth-oriented organizations is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to regional business development or Southeast Asian markets, particularly Vietnam, would be a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA would be viewed favorably.
