A global manufacturing organization is expanding its footprint in Asia with a significant investment in Thailand.

Job Description

  • Lead finance, accounting, treasury, and compliance activities for Thailand operations.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective internal controls.
  • Oversee month-end closing, audits, tax matters, and governance processes.
  • Provide finance leadership for a new manufacturing facility as it moves into commercial operations.
  • Manage plant finance activities, including costing, inventory, fixed assets, and operational performance analysis.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.
  • Oversee cash flow, treasury operations, banking relationships, and working capital performance.
  • Lead BOI, VAT, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Develop and lead the finance team while partnering with business leaders to support growth and operational excellence.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior management on financial performance, risks, and strategic decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership or controllership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, controls, and treasury operations.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, or process-driven environments.
  • Experience with costing, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
  • Fluent in Thai and English, with flexibility to travel as required.
