Job Description

Product Development Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept through commercialisation.
  • Translate product vision, design intent, and performance requirements into manufacturable solutions.
  • Drive product innovation, functionality, quality, and speed-to-market.
  • Establish clear development priorities and ensure alignment across regional and global stakeholders.



Technical & Engineering Excellence

  • Provide leadership on product engineering, materials selection, manufacturing processes, testing, and validation.
  • Drive robust design reviews, risk assessments, and product performance evaluations.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges impacting product quality, durability, manufacturability, or consumer experience.
  • Ensure products consistently meet performance, safety, compliance, and quality standards.



Factory & Supplier Collaboration

  • Build strong partnerships with manufacturing facilities and key suppliers across Asia.
  • Lead factory-facing technical problem-solving initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in product performance, process capability, and production readiness.
  • Support tooling validation, product industrialisation, and manufacturing optimisation efforts.



Process Improvement & Systems Implementation

  • Establish best-in-class product development processes and governance frameworks.
  • Drive adoption of digital project management and product lifecycle management tools.
  • Implement consistent development methodologies, KPI tracking, and reporting systems.
  • Improve efficiency, visibility, and accountability throughout the development lifecycle.



Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional product development team.
  • Create a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor technical leaders and future talent across the organisation.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with design, sourcing, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Advanced degree or MBA is advantageous.
  • Significant experience leading product development, engineering, or technical functions within garment/textiles, sporting goods, engineered products, industrial products, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies, manufacturing processes, materials, testing, and validation.
  • Proven success managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience working closely with manufacturing partners and supplier networks across Asia.
  • Strong project management, risk management, and commercialisation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement systems, processes, and operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent English and Thai communication skills.
