Job Description

  • Lead and oversee factory cost accounting to ensure accurate product, inventory, and manufacturing cost records
  • Establish, maintain, and update standard costing while reviewing differences against actual results
  • Analyze cost and inventory variances and translate findings into actionable business insights
  • Prepare detailed product costing, manufacturing cost reports, and landed cost calculations
  • Manage month‑end costing and inventory close, ensuring data integrity and timeliness
  • Monitor warehouse and production costs to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Support pricing decisions, new product costing, and profitability analysis
  • Coordinate cost‑related data across sales, production, warehouse, and finance teams
  • Maintain costing and inventory procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Support audits, physical inventory counts, and intercompany cost reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Costing Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing or factory‑based cost accounting
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, cost variance analysis, and inventory accounting
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
