Job Description

Strategic Procurement Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with business, regional, and global procurement priorities
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation, delivering measurable financial impact
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including tenders, negotiations, and contract structuring for complex categories
  • Ensure early procurement involvement in capital projects and operational initiatives to maximise value



Team Leadership & Organisational Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor delivery, and build capability within the team
  • Promote collaboration, engagement, and alignment with broader organisational goals



Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, engineering, finance, and leadership teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing commercial insights and sourcing expertise
  • Engage at multiple levels of the organisation to shape demand, align priorities, and influence decision-making



Supplier Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage strategic supplier partnerships, ensuring performance, quality, and innovation
  • Drive supplier consolidation, performance improvement, and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Ensure suppliers adhere to ethical, safety, and regulatory standards



Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to align sourcing strategies and leverage scale
  • Implement global agreements while ensuring local market requirements are addressed
  • Share best practices and drive harmonisation across procurement processes



Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Identify and implement process improvements, digital tools, and best practices
  • Drive procurement maturity, efficiency, and capability development
  • Support broader organisational transformation initiatives and change management efforts

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or engineering-related roles in the chemicals, oil & gas, heavy manufacturing or EPC environment
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and supplier management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience working with senior leadership
  • High level of commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • Experience operating in regional or global matrix organisations is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement tools
  • Strong command of both Thai and English communication
