Our client is an established international medical technology company providing innovative healthcare solutions to hospitals and healthcare professionals. As the business continues to develop its advanced surgical technology portfolio in Thailand, they are looking for a Clinical Applications Specialist to support customers and strengthen clinical adoption.

Job Description

  • Serve as the key clinical and technical resource for an advanced surgical technology platform.
  • Provide hands-on clinical support during surgical procedures to ensure safe and effective system utilization.
  • Support surgeons and OR teams with system preparation, instrumentation, workflow, and first-line troubleshooting.
  • Deliver structured clinical and product training to surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding, practical workshops, simulation training, and competency development activities.
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, operating-room teams, and key hospital stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procedural workflow, technology adoption, and system utilization.
  • Collaborate with commercial, technical service, customer support, and regional teams to resolve customer needs.
  • Track procedure volumes, utilization, training activities, customer feedback, and site performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure activities comply with relevant quality, safety, regulatory, and hospital requirements.
  • Support clinical feedback, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Clinical Coordinator should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in an operating-room, surgical medical device, clinical application, or healthcare environment.
  • Good understanding of surgical workflows, OR practices, and sterile-field principles.
  • Comfortable working directly with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Able to learn and confidently support sophisticated medical technology.
  • Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Customer-focused, hands-on, adaptable, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with advanced surgical systems, minimally invasive technology, surgical navigation, or complex OR equipment would be advantageous.
  • Willing to travel regularly within Thailand and work flexible hours according to surgical case requirements.
