Job Description

  • Lead and oversee engineering, maintenance, utilities, and mechanical operations to ensure maximum plant availability and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Manage plant improvement, expansion, and capital expenditure projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
  • Monitor engineering performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
  • Control engineering and maintenance budgets, optimize operating costs, and improve resource utilization without compromising performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop engineering and maintenance teams while collaborating with production and cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, project management, or plant operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams in a heavy manufacturing or building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, utilities management, CAPEX projects, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive operational excellence and change initiatives.
