Job Description

  • Lead purchasing and sourcing activities to ensure the timely availability of materials, services, and operational requirements for the business.
  • Manage procurement planning with internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality products while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Oversee import and receiving operations, including customs documentation, import clearance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and receipt of materials while minimizing demurrage, detention, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Develop, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors and external partners.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, audit compliance, inventory-related processes, and proper disposal of scrap materials in accordance with company standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, import/export, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import documentation, supplier management, and international trade compliance.
  • Proven negotiation, vendor development, cost reduction, and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication, strong leadership, stakeholder management, planning, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Very good communication in English
