We are representing a client in the building materials sector seeking a highly experienced Operations Advisor to lead the strategic and operational setup of a new manufacturing facility in Thailand.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end planning for the factory establishment in Thailand
  • Define plant capacity, layout, and operational model aligned with business objectives
  • Advise on technology selection, automation level, and production processes specific to building materials
  • Oversee project milestones from concept design to commissioning
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, EPC contractors, and external consultants
  • Ensure delivery within timeline, budget, and quality standards
  • Identify and establish relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and logistics partners
  • Optimize sourcing strategies for raw materials and machinery

The Successful Applicant

A successful Advisory - Operation should have:

  • 15+ years in manufacturing operations, with strong exposure to building materials (e.g., cement, steel, insulation, prefabrication, or related sectors)
  • Proven track record in greenfield factory setup or major plant expansion projects in Southeast Asia
  • Experience in Thailand is highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and plant engineering
  • Strong knowledge of project management, CAPEX planning, and industrial operations
  • Familiarity with Thai regulatory and BOI frameworks is a significant advantage
