About Our Client

The organisation operates in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector in Rayong.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Review and maintain accounting estimates, reserves, and accrual calculations in accordance with relevant accounting requirements.
  • Monitor key balance sheet provisions relating to inventory, receivables, employee obligations, warranties, and asset impairment.
  • Validate journal postings, account reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity to ensure reliable financial records.
  • Manage accounting activities related to inventory and fixed assets, including valuation and depreciation processes.
  • Produce accurate financial reports and management information to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, internal controls, and accounting standards.
  • Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders throughout audit engagements and statutory reviews.
  • Support group reporting requirements, consolidation activities, budgeting processes, and financial analysis initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting workflows, controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Accounting Manager' should have:

  • Strong practical accounting experience, including financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Valid CPD certification
  • Effective English communication skills for business interactions and reporting.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems being advantageous.
