Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead and support the accounting team, providing coaching, performance guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and collection activities to improve financial efficiency.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting exercises, including analysis of financial performance against plans.
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors and facilitate audit-related activities.
  • Drive improvements in accounting workflows, controls, and system utilization to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and financial governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
  • Maintain the integrity and effectiveness of financial systems and reporting platforms.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Around 5 years or more of accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, account closing activities, and accounting operations.
  • Solid understanding of Thai Accounting Standards (TAS), IFRS, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Registered accountant status with the Federation of Accounting Professions is highly preferred.
  • CPD compliance in line with professional accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent Thai and strong English communication skills.
