Known for its innovative approach, it continues to grow and expand its footprint.Job DescriptionLead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic growth opportunities through brand acquisition, franchising, licensing, distribution partnerships, and M&A activities.Monitor global and local retail market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify emerging growth opportunities and high-potential brands.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective brands and business partners aligned with the organization's long-term strategic objectives.Establish relationships with brand owners, principals, and strategic partners, leading commercial discussions and contract negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Develop financial models, business cases, and investment feasibility analyses to evaluate commercial opportunities and support investment decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including commercial, operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure successful project execution.Prepare and present strategic recommendations, investment proposals, and project updates to senior management for approval.Maintain comprehensive market intelligence and continuously evaluate new opportunities across existing and future target markets.The Successful ApplicantA successful VP Business Development should have:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
