About Our Client

An organisation within the retail/FMCG industry.

Job Description

  • Lead the data science roadmap for demand forecasting, pricing, promotions, and customer intelligence.
  • Develop AI/ML models for forecasting, segmentation, churn prediction, CLV, and recommendation engines.
  • Build decision-support tools, scorecards, and buyer-facing applications that improve commercial performance.
  • Partner with Analytics and Data Platform teams to deploy, monitor, and scale models in production.
  • Establish best practices for model validation, monitoring, and governance.
  • Mentor and grow a team of Data Scientists.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science/Machine Learning, including team leadership.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills with experience deploying models to production.
  • Expertise in forecasting, pricing analytics, customer segmentation, or recommendation systems.
  • Ability to translate technical insights into business value.
  • Retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods experience preferred.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field is a plus.
