Now entering Thailand as a strategic growth market, they are looking for a pioneer who can drive customer acquisition, build strong technical relationships, and unlock long‑term partnerships with major automotive manufacturers.

Job Description

  • Lead business development efforts in Thailand, focusing on automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 manufacturing customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer production flow, factory layout, and automation needs to propose tailored conveyor solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, technical presentations, solution scoping, proposals, costing, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate closely with global engineering teams in Sweden and regional APAC offices to deliver accurate system designs and proposals.
  • Conduct site visits, feasibility assessments, and basic layout evaluations for conveyor installations.
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and project teams within customer organisations.
  • Represent the company at trade events, technical seminars, and customer demonstrations across the region.
  • Act as the key point of contact in Thailand, supporting early project planning through to project handover.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-7 years of technical sales, business development, or application engineering experience.
  • Must have prior experience selling into automotive manufacturers (OEM or Tier‑1).
  • Experience with conveyor systems, automation, material handling, industrial equipment, or production line technology is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude-comfortable reading layouts, understanding mechanical concepts, and explaining engineered solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with engineering, factory leadership, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset; able to work independently as the founding role in a new country operation.
  • Fluent Thai; strong English communication skills required for collaboration with global team
