The successful candidate requires experience in in-process quality assurance, manufacturing quality control, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities within a high-volume production environment.

Job Description

  • Monitor and control in-process quality performance to ensure products meet customer and internal specifications.
  • Lead investigations of production quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and improve process capability.
  • Conduct process audits, layered process audits (LPA), and quality inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze quality data, scrap rates, defect trends, and process KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve manufacturing processes and prevent recurring quality issues.
  • Support customer quality requirements, containment activities, deviation management, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, In-Process Quality, or Manufacturing Quality within an industrial or automotive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience conducting process audits and driving corrective actions in a production environment.
  • Good English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
