Job Description

  • Evaluate repair and production processes to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cycle-time analysis, and cost-benefit assessments to support automation investments.
  • Develop automation concepts, equipment specifications, process flows, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with automation vendors, machine builders, and equipment suppliers throughout project execution.
  • Prepare project scopes, budgets, ROI analyses, and business cases for management approval.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, equipment installation, FAT, commissioning, and qualification activities.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance, including productivity, quality, labor savings, and cycle-time improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide project performance updates to stakeholders and management.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in automation projects, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or process improvement.
  • Proven experience leading automation projects from concept development through implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies, robotics, PLCs, machine vision, industrial controls, and equipment integration.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
