Job Description

  • Promote and lead a strong safety culture with a focus on achieving zero workplace incidents.
  • Plan and manage production schedules, including specialized manufacturing campaigns.
  • Lead and guide production teams to improve product quality and output performance.
  • Drive accountability and performance management across direct reports.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets to meet financial targets.
  • Support customer visits and audits by providing required operational information.
  • Oversee production processes and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Coordinate improvement initiatives with engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to support both planned and emergency activities.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and product specifications.
  • Develop action plans to meet product quality requirements and resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to manage food safety and compliance requirements.
  • Drive plant efficiency through continuous improvement in processes, costs, and resource utilization.
  • Lead and deliver improvement projects using structured methodologies and best practices.
  • Manage project execution focusing on safety, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with automation teams to enhance system utilization and technology adoption.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure projects are delivered within approved financial limits.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure service quality through clear scope and standards.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous learning within the organization.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Demonstrate leadership aligned with company values, mission, and strategic direction.
  • Promote ethical behavior, professionalism, and accountability across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering or in a related discipline.
  • Have at least 7-10 years of experience in production or plant operations within manufacturing industries.
  • Possess experience in polymer, chemical or related industries, which is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate at least 2 year of experience managing or supporting safety programs.
  • Show strong knowledge of production processes, quality management, and plant operations.
  • Understand environmental regulations and compliance requirements in industrial settings.
  • Demonstrate leadership capability in managing teams and driving performance outcomes.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with SAP for maintenance, operations, or data management.
  • Possess working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards, including quality and occupational health and safety systems.
  • Good command in English.
