Job Description

  • Provide medical and scientific leadership to support strategy, execution, and patient‑focused initiatives within the assigned therapeutic area.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to contribute clinical expertise to business planning, product strategy, medical training, and scientific communications.
  • Lead local medical evidence generation activities, including studies and research collaborations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Ensure high‑quality medical information responses and oversee medical review and approval of promotional and non‑promotional materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with medical experts, patient organizations, and external stakeholders while managing medical resources and budget.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Medical Advisor should have:

  • Hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent qualification in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical, regulatory, and compliance requirements within the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases therapeutic area.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in analyzing clinical data and translating insights into strategic decision‑making.
  • Strong relationship‑building capabilities and the ability to foster cross‑functional and external collaboration.
  • Commitment to staying current with scientific advancements and trends in healthcare and life sciences.
