Job Description

  • Lead mechanical and utilities maintenance operations to ensure high equipment reliability, plant uptime, and uninterrupted production performance.
  • Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies while driving troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, utility efficiency, spare parts planning, vendor development, and operational cost optimization.
  • Oversee critical equipment maintenance and ensure effective execution of shutdown and maintenance activities.
  • Drive equipment reliability improvements through root cause analysis, technical upgrades, and maintenance best practices.
  • Develop local suppliers and support spare part localization initiatives to improve service levels and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and improve utility consumption, efficiency, and overall plant operating performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams to enhance technical capabilities and operational effectiveness.
  • Implement maintenance management systems and TQM practices to improve performance and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems, including ISO and process safety requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through risk assessments, audits, incident prevention, and employee engagement programs.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and plant leadership to achieve operational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience for Maintenance Engineering within packaging, polymer, resin industries.
  • Strong experience in BOPP, BOPET, packaging film manufacturing, or continuous process industries.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical maintenance, utilities management, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability improvement.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor development programs.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, environmental management systems, occupational health & safety, and process safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance teams, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and execution capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command in English.
