Job Description

  • Lead regional market development by identifying growth opportunities, analysing consumer and industry trends, and translating insights into actionable sales and segment strategies across Southeast Asia.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Technical teams across multiple countries (Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam) to drive commercial excellence, provide market intelligence, and align execution with regional objectives.
  • Drive new product development (NPD) and product launches by working cross-functionally with Application, Marketing, and Business Units, ensuring successful commercialisation and strong market adoption.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding the customer base through targeted business development initiatives and strategic account penetration.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory and segment plans, including pipeline management, lead generation, and opportunity conversion using CRM tools such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Lead marketing and customer engagement activities, including workshops, trade events, and innovation sessions, while creating impactful sales tools, business cases, and go-to-market materials.
  • Monitor financial performance and competitive landscape, optimising pricing, portfolio mix, and profitability while supporting data-driven decision-making and efficient resource allocation across the region.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field, with strong technical understanding of beverage, juice, taste, and sweet ingredient applications.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the food ingredients industry, particularly in beverage, juice concentrate, flavour, or sweet seasoning segments.
  • Background from leading ingredient or distribution companies or related.
  • Independent, proactive, and highly result-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a detail-focused (hands-on) management style.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English, combined with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive business outcomes.
