Job Description

  • Lead new production preparation activities to achieve quality, cost, and operational targets.
  • Support pilot, prototype, and mass production readiness for machining and assembly processes.
  • Manage engineering change requests and process modifications related to machining programs, tooling, fixtures, BOM, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Ensure all process and production changes are properly reviewed, evaluated, and approved before implementation.
  • Develop and release production work instructions for prototype, pilot, and mass production phases.
  • Verify that production instructions align with project timelines and manufacturing readiness plans.
  • Drive quality and productivity improvements by identifying and resolving production and engineering challenges.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with company objectives and operational priorities.
  • Monitor and report investment budget utilization for equipment and project activities.
  • Manage fixed assets within the department and identify opportunities to improve asset performance and utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient product launches and stable production operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess 5-10 years of experience in automotive parts manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in CNC machining, assembly processes, or both.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production and process-related challenges.
  • Be proficient in using data analysis tools to monitor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Demonstrate English communication skills with a TOEIC score of 500 or above.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
