The organisation offers a collaborative environment where finance professionals play a key role in shaping commercial and strategic decisions across multiple markets.Job DescriptionLead direct and indirect tax compliance activities across multiple APAC countries.Ensure timely and accurate submission of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and regulatory filings.Coordinate with finance teams, auditors, and external advisors on tax matters.Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions, including current and deferred tax reporting.Develop and enhance tax governance, controls, policies, and documentation standards.Oversee regional transfer pricing compliance and related documentation requirements.Review intercompany transactions, cross-border payments, and financing arrangements.Advise stakeholders on international tax matters and cross-border business structures.Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess potential business impacts.Lead tax audits, investigations, enquiries, and dispute resolution processes.Prepare responses to tax authority requests and support audit defence strategies.Identify and mitigate tax risks while strengthening compliance frameworks.Provide practical tax advice for new products, commercial arrangements, and expansion projects.Support business initiatives involving market entry, licensing, and regional operating models.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and regulatory authorities.The Successful ApplicantA successful Manager, Group Tax should have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation, Law, or a related discipline.Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or a recognised tax certification is highly preferred.Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant tax experience, ideally combining advisory and in-house exposure.Strong knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, tax reporting, and tax controversy management.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.What's on OfferHigh visibility role with direct exposure to senior regional leadership and key business decision-makers.Broad scope covering tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax controversy, business advisory, and strategic projects.Involvement in regional expansion initiatives, market entry projects, and cross-border transactions.This is a permanent position based in Bangkok.
