We are representing a leading listed organization seeking a highly commercial and strategic Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the overall finance function across the group. This executive will play a critical role in driving financial performance, strengthening governance, supporting business expansion, and partnering closely with the Board and CEO on long-term strategic direction.

Job Description

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and strategic advisor to the CEO and Board.
  • Lead the overall financial strategy to support sustainable growth, profitability, and shareholder value creation.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives, investment planning, and expansion strategies.
  • Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support major business decisions, M&A activities, and new investments.
  • Lead enterprise-wide financial planning and performance management.



Financial Management

  • Oversee all aspects of finance including:
    • Financial planning and analysis
    • Accounting and reporting
    • Treasury and cash flow management
    • Tax and compliance
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Internal controls and audit
    • Investor relations support
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and listed company requirements.
  • Maintain strong governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks across the group.
  • Monitor liquidity, capital structure, and funding strategies to optimize financial performance.



Listed Company & Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with SET/SEC regulations and corporate governance standards.
  • Lead preparation and presentation of board papers, annual reports, and shareholder communications.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, banks, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support Board and Audit Committee matters from a financial and governance perspective.



Operational & Commercial Partnership

  • Partner closely with business leaders to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Drive KPI management and financial discipline across all business units.
  • Support digital transformation and finance process optimization initiatives.
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance organization across the group.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of finance leadership experience, with significant exposure at CFO or senior finance executive level.
  • Proven experience within a listed company environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-business or regional operations is preferred.
  • Strong strategic mindset with hands-on leadership capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English communication is required.



Preferred Background

  • Experience in publicly listed conglomerates, manufacturing, consumer, industrial, retail, or regional businesses.
  • Exposure to M&A, IPO readiness, fundraising, or transformation projects will be advantageous.
  • Track record of driving growth, operational improvement, and financial restructuring is highly valued.
