About Our Client

Our client is a leading golf travel and event management company with a strong presence across Asia. Renowned for delivering premium golf holidays, corporate tournaments, and hospitality experiences, the company partners with some of the region's finest golf courses, resorts, and corporate clients. With continued business growth, they are looking for a passionate Golf Tournament Director to strengthen their events team.

Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute golf tournaments, corporate outings, golf festivals, and hospitality events across Asia.
  • Manage all tournament operations, including formats, tee sheets, scoring, player registration, rules administration, prize ceremonies, and on-site event execution.
  • Coordinate with golf clubs, hotels, transportation providers, caterers, and other suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, sponsors, golf clubs, and industry partners.
  • Oversee sponsorship activation, branding opportunities, and hospitality programs during events.
  • Develop event timelines, operational plans, and budgets while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support event promotion, participant communications, and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Monitor event profitability, control costs, and prepare post-event evaluations to continuously improve future tournaments.
  • Lead and coordinate event staff and volunteers throughout the planning and execution process.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in event management, ideally within golf, sports, hospitality, tourism, or corporate events.
  • Hands-on experience managing golf tournaments or similar sporting events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable travelling frequently across Asia and working weekends when required.
  • Knowledge of golf tournament operations and experience working with international clients would be highly advantageous.
