Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all accounting and finance activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting obligations
  • Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and management reports
  • Oversee treasury activities, cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimization
  • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient funding for business operations and future investments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and funding partners
  • Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines, guarantees, financing arrangements, and related commercial terms
  • Identify and secure new funding sources to support business expansion while optimizing financing costs
  • Monitor and control financial expenses to maximize efficiency and return on financial resources
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives across the organization
  • Develop short-term and long-term finance and accounting strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Establish and implement risk management plans to strengthen financial governance and operational controls
  • Present financial performance, investment proposals, budgets, cash flow forecasts, break-even analyses, and business trends to senior management
  • Support investment evaluations and strategic business decision-making processes
  • Coordinate matters related to BOI compliance and reporting requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members to achieve departmental objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance and accounting functions
  • Perform additional assignments as required by senior management

The Successful Applicant

A successful GM Accounting and Finance should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within accounting and finance management
  • Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Able to communicate in English at a functional business level
  • Possess a valid driver's license and willing to travel to upcountry locations when required
