FP&A Specialist (TH & VN)

This role supports financial planning, reporting, and business performance management for Thailand and Vietnam while working closely with the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, month-end activities, and selected accounting and compliance processes.

Job Description

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights on sales, margins, operating expenses, and business performance.
  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand key financial drivers and performance trends.
  • Assist with monthly group reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Prepare reconciliations and reporting adjustments in accordance with group reporting requirements.
  • Support month-end closing activities and validate financial data before reporting.
  • Review accruals, provisions, and key accounting entries impacting financial results.
  • Coordinate with accounting teams in Thailand and Vietnam to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining internal controls and compliance with company policies.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing documentation and analysis.
  • Develop and improve Excel-based reporting tools, dashboards, and financial models.
  • Perform data extraction and reconciliation from ERP systems and multiple data sources.
  • Monitor cash flow activities and support working capital management for Vietnam operations.
  • Participate in finance process improvement and reporting efficiency initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Around 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, accounting, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Good accounting knowledge, including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is an advantage.
