Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst (APAC) to join the regional finance team in Bangkok. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial modelling, investment analysis, and M&A execution across multiple countries in APAC.

Job Description

  • Support M&A and acquisition analysis, including valuation and financial modeling
  • Prepare investment memos, IC decks, and executive presentations
  • Track post-investment performance and portfolio returns
  • Build and maintain complex financial models for relevant projects and conduct project feasibility analysis
  • Perform scenario, sensitivity, and downside analysis to support investment decisions
  • Lead financial forecasting and budgeting across multiple countries
  • Support CAPEX planning and long-term cash flow projections
  • Partner with accounting teams to analyze actuals vs forecasts
  • Drive Excel-based automation and analytical enhancements

The Successful Applicant

A successful APAC Financial Analyst should have:

  • A strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis
  • Strong background in Energy & Natural Resources or related sectors
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and feasibility studies
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a multi-country, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Open to Thai or Expat candidates
