Job Description

  • Lead the full finance function in Thailand, covering accounting, reporting, and controls.
  • Oversee day-to-day finance activities including payables, receivables, and general ledger.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing in line with group standards and local regulations.
  • Ensure financial data is accurately captured and maintained in the ERP system.
  • Take ownership of all local tax obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Thai accounting laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the annual budget and rolling forecast processes for the Thailand entity.
  • Analyze budget variances and provide insights to support cost control and performance improvement.
  • Support business expansion through cash flow planning and local banking management.
  • Establish and strengthen internal control frameworks to minimize financial risks.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and automate finance processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; professional certification or master's degree is an advantage.
  • Over 10 years of finance and accounting experience, including several years in a leadership role.
  • Background in multinational or matrix organizations preferred.
  • Strong command of Thai tax regulations and local accounting standards aligned with IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as JDE or SAP.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in influencing stakeholders across the business.
