Job Description

  • Develop and execute treasury and capital management strategies to support business growth and long-term investment objectives
  • Lead enterprise-wide cash flow planning, forecasting, and liquidity management across operational and project activities
  • Oversee debt management initiatives, including financing structures, refinancing programs, and optimization of funding costs
  • Ensure compliance with loan agreements, financial covenants, and regulatory requirements while proactively managing financial risks
  • Manage strategic relationships with banks, lenders, investors, and financial institutions
  • Lead capital raising activities and complex financing transactions, including project financing and funding initiatives
  • Develop foreign exchange and interest rate risk management strategies to mitigate market volatility
  • Strengthen treasury governance, internal controls, and funding processes to ensure operational excellence and compliance
  • Support major investment decisions through valuation analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning
  • Drive digital transformation and process improvements within treasury and finance functions
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering technical and commercial capabilities
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and the Board to support long-term value creation and strategic decision-making

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director (Treasury) should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CTP are advantageous
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, capital markets, or related fields, including senior leadership experience
  • Proven track record within energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, or similarly capital-intensive industries
  • Strong experience in bond issuance, project finance, debt management, and capital raising activities
  • Hands-on exposure to financing structures, covenant management, and stakeholder engagement with lenders and rating agencies
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, treasury management, and capital structure optimization
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange, interest rate risk management, and hedging strategies
  • Well-established network across banks, investment institutions, capital markets participants, and regulatory bodies is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Fluent in both Thai and English, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, investors, and Board members
