Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and statutory reporting.
  • Act as the primary finance partner and liaison between the Thailand business and regional shared service teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks to improve governance and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead external audit activities and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate financial analysis, performance insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting standards, and operational controls.
  • Partner with business leaders to support growth initiatives, profitability improvement, and financial planning activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful GM, Finance should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPD qualification is strongly preferred.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, tax compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience within FMCG, consumer products, retail, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage key stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP and other ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
  • Strong audit, risk management, and internal control experience.
  • Resilient, hands-on, and able to work effectively in a fast-moving business environment.
