The organization is recognized for its strong commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous innovation while providing employees with opportunities to work on complex international projects.Job DescriptionInstall and configure ESIII on customer-provided PCs or virtual machines within the control room environment.Integrate ESIII with plant DCS and PLC systems using OPC DA and OPC UA communication protocols.Verify communication watchdog logic and supervisory control functions to ensure reliable system operation.Validate signal configurations, scaling, engineering units, and mirrored write-back variables to support seamless control transitions between DCS and ESIII.Plan and execute furnace testing activities to collect process identification and performance data.Develop, verify, and refine MPC process models based on actual plant operating conditions.Commission ESIII controllers and support the migration from manual or PID-based control to supervisory MPC control.Optimize control models and operating parameters to enhance process stability, efficiency, and performance.Analyze furnace operating conditions, including temperature profiles, combustion efficiency, pull rates, electric boosting, and glass level performance.Implement process optimization strategies to reduce energy consumption, emissions, process variability, and operational disturbances.Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot process, automation, communication, and software-related issues.Adapt ESIII configurations to different furnace technologies and control architectures.Coordinate successful system handover to customer operations teams and complete Site Acceptance Protocol requirements.Serve as the primary technical contact throughout installation, commissioning, and optimization projects.Deliver technical training to operators, engineers, and plant personnel on the effective use of ESIII.Build strong customer relationships to support long-term adoption and utilization of the system.Analyze controller performance, model accuracy, operational data, and KPI trends to identify improvement opportunities.Prepare technical reports, performance reviews, audit summaries, and customer-facing documentation.Provide feedback and recommendations to development teams based on field implementation experience.Contribute to the enhancement of ESIII control strategies and future technology developments.Support the implementation of ES Pilot and other performance-monitoring solutions where applicable.Share technical expertise and best practices across regional and global teams.Maintain accurate documentation, including system configurations, model parameters, customer notes, and backup records.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree or higher in Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.Familiar with Burner, Furnace, or Boiler with automation systems.Demonstrated combination of process control knowledge and practical industrial experience.Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including PID control, control loops, setpoint management, and zone-based control strategies.Experience working with PLC, DCS, and supervisory control systems within industrial manufacturing environments.Familiarity with OPC communication protocols and industrial system integration.Ability to interpret process data, trend analysis, statistical indicators, and model performance metrics.Experience using data analysis tools and statistical techniques for process diagnostics and optimization.Comfortable working in Windows-based engineering and industrial software environments.Understanding of industrial network infrastructure, Ethernet communication, and control room IT systems.Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional language capabilities in Portuguese, Spanish, German, or French would be advantageous.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customer groups.Ability to remain effective under pressure in critical production and commissioning environments.Demonstrated ownership mindset with a strong commitment to project success and customer satisfaction.What's on OfferCompetitive CompensationOpportunity to work for a global companyGain international exposure through complex industrial projects worldwide.ContactNantipat PongsirikunQuote job refJN-072026-7063993Phone number+6620125001Job summarySectorEngineering & ManufacturingSpecialisationAutomation / Mechatronics / RoboticsWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationBangkok ProvinceContract TypePermanentConsultant nameNantipat PongsirikunConsultant phone+6620125001Job ReferenceJN-072026-7063993
